The Palo Alto Future Meetup Group

Formerly the Silicon Valley Strategic Foresight Meetup Group...

This group is for those who enjoy understanding how rapid technological changes are affecting social, economic, cultural and political systems. We're a diverse group... engineers, product managers, trainers, venture capitalists, and a bunch of other folks I haven't met yet.

Many of us are action-oriented, so it's likely you'll meet someone who's interested in creating something new or improving something that exists today.

Alternatively, you may just want to learn about what other people are working on and what they are interested in.

Our next meetup would be in February, 2008. We will be start working on our member Nanomatrix's future event timeline idea. We are going to put together important future event that will great affect human future. We will then study the interaction between these events in the future then to forecast the coming of singularity.
